Poisedbym reset
A purposeful Shift in the Workday
PoisedbyM Reset is a guided workplace wellbeing experience that brings movement, breathing, mindfulness, and meditation into the workday to support the whole person—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
The experience begins with the body. Accessible movement helps counter the physical effects of a sedentary workday, mobilize the body, and release tension that can accumulate through prolonged sitting and sustained concentration. Breathing provides a direct way to shift pace and bring attention inward.
Meditation introduces stillness, while mindfulness develops the ability to become more conscious of where our attention is going and how we are experiencing the moment.

But Reset is designed to go beyond how people feel during the session.
The practices provide a foundation for exploring how attention, perspective, mindset, and habitual patterns influence the way we experience our work and ourselves.
The intention is to give people practical tools for becoming more intentional about how they think, respond, and engage with what they are creating.
The deeper intention is to help people become more deliberate about where they place their attention, how they interpret their experience, how they respond to what happens around them, and what they choose to create.

Reset deliberately interrupts that momentum.
Changing physical state can change the quality of the experience. Movement brings energy back into the body. Breathing changes the pace. Stillness creates space away from continuous stimulation. Together, these practices create a genuine transition rather than simply asking someone to stop working for a few minutes.
That transition matters because people do not leave their physical and mental state at the door when they begin their next task.
How we feel physically, where our attention is directed, and the perspective we are carrying all influence how we engage with what comes next.
Reset creates an opportunity to consciously shift those conditions before returning to the workday.

Why Reset Work
The modern workday rarely provides a natural transition between one demand and the next. Meetings lead into emails, emails lead into deadlines, and one task begins before the previous one has fully left our attention.
the reset experience
Reset is designed as one integrated experience rather than four separate activities.
Movement changes the physical state. Breath changes pace and provides an accessible anchor for attention. Mindfulness develops awareness of the present experience and the patterns that influence it. Meditation provides dedicated space to practice stillness and focused attention. Together, these practices move from the physical to the mental and from immediate experience toward deeper awareness, perspective and intentionality.
The intention is not to turn a workplace session into a lecture or a personal-development seminar. Participants experience the practices first.
Through that experience, they begin to understand how movement, attention, stillness, perspective, and intentionality can influence the way they move through their day.

From Reset into the workday
The practices introduced during Reset are designed to be practical beyond the session.
Movement can be used to bring the body back into motion during a long working day. Breathing can provide a simple transition between activities. Moments of stillness can create space between one demand and the next.
Mindfulness can be practiced whenever attention, perspective, or choice matter.
The intention is not to add another demanding wellness routine to an already full schedule.
It is to give people practices they can return to throughout the day and a greater understanding of how they can use them.
The Science Behind the Practice
PoisedbyM Reset brings together movement, breathing, mindfulness, and meditation. These practices have each been studied in relation to areas relevant to workplace wellbeing, including stress, psychological wellbeing, physical health, attention, and work-related outcomes.
The World Health Organization estimates that depression and anxiety contribute to approximately 12 billion lost working days globally each year, at an estimated cost of US$1 trillion in lost productivity. WHO also identifies excessive workloads, low job control, poor working conditions, and negative workplace behaviors among psychosocial risks that can affect mental health at work.
Research on workplace mindfulness has found beneficial effects across outcomes including stress, anxiety, psychological distress, wellbeing, and sleep. Research on workplace yoga has also found reductions in perceived stress compared with no-treatment controls, although researchers have noted limitations in the size and quality of the available evidence.
Research on physical-activity programs in workplace settings has examined health, workability, and productivity, with systematic reviews finding potential benefits across some interventions while noting that outcomes vary depending on the type and design of the program.
Reset does not claim that a single session can solve workplace stress or create success.
Instead, it brings together established practices within a broader experience designed to support physical wellbeing, attention, self-awareness, perspective, and intentional action.

DESIGNED FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION
There is no single way to create a meaningful pause at work.
Reset can be tailored to your people, your environment, your schedule, and the purpose of the experience.
Sessions range from 15 to 60 minutes and can be delivered in person or virtually.
Reset can be incorporated into team meetings, employee wellbeing programs, company retreats, conferences and workplace events, leadership and team days, and ongoing workplace wellness initiatives.
A shorter experience can create a focused shift within the working day, while a longer session allows more space for movement, meditation, mindfulness, and deeper exploration of the principles behind the practice.

Wellbeing that People can Experience
Workplace wellbeing becomes meaningful when it is reflected in the experience of work itself.
An organization can offer benefits, resources, and wellness programs, but they remain separate from everyday work unless people have opportunities to experience wellbeing within their working lives.
Reset brings wellbeing into the workday.
For a period of time, people are given space to move, breathe, become still, and reconnect with themselves outside the constant demand to produce and respond. They are also introduced to practices that can influence how they approach the rest of their day—from the way they direct their attention and respond to pressure to the perspective they bring to challenges, opportunities, and the people around them.
This makes wellbeing more than another initiative employees are encouraged to participate in. It becomes an experience that is built into the working environment and a practice people can carry with them beyond the session.
When organizations create space for people to care for themselves while doing meaningful work, wellbeing becomes part of how people experience the workplace—not something that exists separately from it.
