Grounde Recover Series
Recovery is not simply about changing behavior. It is also about understanding the patterns that shape it.
Grounded Recovery is a professionally developed seven-week curriculum created specifically for behavioral health and recovery settings. Through psychoeducation, mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and structured reflection, participants explore how stress, perception, habits, emotions, and the nervous system influence the way they respond to themselves and the world around them.
Rather than teaching yoga as a collection of postures, Grounded uses movement as an experiential learning tool—turning concepts into experiences participants can observe, understand, and apply.
Grounded is education experienced through movement.

A Seven-Week Psychoeducational Mindfulness & Movement Curriculum for Behavioral Health and Recovery

Helping clients understand the relationship between body, mind, habits, and behavior—and develop practical skills for long-term recovery.
Why Grounded Recovery?
Many individuals entering treatment have spent years responding to stress, emotion, and difficult experiences automatically.
They may understand what they want to change without fully understanding the patterns that influence their reactions, habits, and choices.
Grounded Recovery bridges that gap.
Each session introduces accessible concepts drawn from mindfulness, psychology, neuroscience, and recovery science, then gives participants an opportunity to experience those concepts through movement, breathing, meditation, discussion, and reflection.
The goal is not simply to help participants feel better in the moment.
It is to help them understand themselves better—and develop greater awareness and choice in how they respond.
What Makes grounded different
Grounded Recovery is not a yoga class with educational content added.
It is an educational curriculum experienced through movement.
Movement becomes a way to explore:
-
How the body responds to stress
-
How attention influences experience
-
How perception shapes reaction
-
How habits become automatic
-
How awareness creates space for choice
-
How resilience and psychological flexibility develop
-
How values and intentional choices shape life beyond treatment
Participants don’t simply hear about these concepts. They experience them.
That connection between education and direct experience is at the heart of Grounded Recovery.
